How to add Inventory page to Menu?

Note: There is no real Inventory page in Pages section. It is an archive page. 

To show Inventory page, you go to Appearance > Menus > Open your menu > Add a Custom Link. 

This custom link will have a structure like that: your_website_domain/inventory

How to set up Inventory page?

Step 1: Navigate to Autoshowroom Options > Add new to create a template style for Inventory page.

Step 2: Configure options in Vehicle Pages options

Step 3: Go to Autoshowroom Options > Settings > Vehicle Options to set up the template style in Vehicle Archive style option. 

Agency Detail Page:

Navigate to Dashboard > Agency > Add New to create new agencies.

Then, you can add agency information like this:

To show your amazing agencies, you go to Appearance > Menus > Agency categories > Select the agency category you want to show. 

How to set up for Agency page?

In case you need to set up for Agency page and Agency Detail pages, you can follow steps below:

Step 1: Go to Autoshowroom Options > Add New > Create new template style. 

Step 2: Configure the template style as you want.

Step 3: Navigate to Autoshowroom > Settings > Agency Options > Setup template styles for Agency Archive page and Agency Detail pages. 

How to create a page:

• Go to Auto showroom Options and create a template style or configure an available template style. Each page will get a separate template style.
• Go to Pages > Add New and add new elements.
• Select corresponding template style which you have just created/configured in Auto showroom Options
• Click Save

In this theme, we are using Progress Car Dealership plugin to add/edit/manage vehicles. This plugin has already been included in the theme package.

Add New Vehicles

• Vehicle content: can be built with Classic Mode or Backend Editor

• Vehicle Data: you can configure Vehicle type, make, model, price, specifications, images and video

Vehicle Data Addition

You can add, edit and manage Vehicle types, Makes and Models easily.

Important: Vehicle Search form works correctly only when vehicle data is added correctly

• Makes need to be assigned with Vehicle types
• Models need to be assigned with Makes

Settings

• General tab: Set up Mileage Unit, Currency, Symbol placement and Thousands separator

• Fields tab: Select to Show/hide available specifications or add new fields/specifications

How to Create a Post

Below information provides you with foundations of how to create a post with categories and tags.

A post contains 2 basic elements: Post Categories and Post Tags., so that you can manage all your posts easily. This part will introduce you to post categories and how to create them.

Categories: To add new post categories, navigate to Dashboard --> Posts --> Categories

Tags: To add new tags, go to Dashboard --> Posts --> Tags and add tag name.

To create a post, you follow steps below:

Step 1: Go to Posts –> Add new

Step 2: Add your content, then choose categories and tags.

To add post content, you can use Classic Mode or Backend Editor

Post formats:

AutoShowroom comes with 6 different post formats: Standard, Gallery, Video, Audio, Link and Quote. When you create a new post, you are able to choose what post format you’d like from the tab options about the text editor, and insert necessary content.

• Standard: With this format, you are only able to add texts into your posts.
• Gallery: Add bundle of images to your post with this format.
• Video: You can add Video URL (YouTube or Vimeo)or Embed code here
• Audio: Similarly, you can add the Audio URL directly or add embed code here. To get these embed codes, you can go to soundcloud.com and search for your favorite audio.
• Link: For this post type, this link will be shown in your detail post instead of your content.
• Quote: In this type, you can add different quotes, just enter Source name, Source URL, & Content
