How to install Martha Theme?

To install the theme correctly, after downloading the theme package from Themeforest, you need to Unzip the package. There are folders included inside.

You can install the theme via WordPress Admin or FTP

Install The Theme via WordPress Admin

  1. Go to Appearances--> Themes
  2. Click Add New button and then hit the Upload Theme button
  3. Click on Browser to upload martha.zip in Theme folder and click Install Now.
  4. Click Activate to activate the installed themes.

Install Theme via FTP

  1. Unzip martha.zip in the theme folder of theme package.
  2. Upload the extracted folder in the previous step into /wp-content / themes/.
  3. To activate the theme, please go to Appearances --> Themes> and activate it.

How to install plugins

  1. It requires you to Activate the license before installing plugins and importing demo content.
  2. After that, open Demo Importer tab.
  3. Open any home page you want to import.
  4. Check All Plugins option to choose all plugins.
  5. Click Install Selected to start installing and activating plugins.
  6. The process may take few seconds. Please be patient!

Go to Martha Option > Settings > Settings > Post Options to set up the template style for Blog page and Post Single Page

Page Options

Go to  Martha Options > Settings > Settings > Page Options to set up the template style for Default Pages

Portfolio Options

Go to Martha Options > Settings > Settings > Portfolio Options to set up the template style for Portfolio Pages

Follow the steps below to create a Blog page:

  • Step 1: Please go to Dashboard > Posts: add your posts
  • Step 2: Go to Appearance > Menus > Select a post category in the Categories section > Add to Menu

How to configure blog options

Please go to Dasboard > Theme Options > Settings > Blog Options
You’ll be able to configure a lot of blog options such as: blog columns, blog layout (grid or list), leading item, title, thumbnail, author, category, comment count, and so on.

How to edit the author info in a single blog post

  • Please go to Dashboard > Users > Profile > Edit the information

This page shows all your beautiful portfolios. To create this page, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to Dashboard > Portfolio to add portfolios.

Step 2: Categorize your portfolios into different categories.

Step 3: Navigate to Appearance > Menus > Select to add “All Portfolios”:

Configure Portfolio Options

  • Please go to Dashboard > Theme Options > Add new template layouts (Ex: Martha – Portfolio Layout)
  • Go to “All Templates” > Martha – Portfolio Layout > Portfolio Options > configure the number of images per portfolio article in the portfolio list.

After that, you need to go to the Settings of the Theme Options > Portfolio Options > Choose a Portfolio Archive style and Portfolio Single Style.

In this theme, we are going to use Elementor to build pages, so before creating your home page, make sure that you have this plugin installed.

Follow the steps below to start building the page:

  • Step 1: Go to Pages > Add New to create a new page
  • Step 2: Click on Edit with Elementor button
  • Step 3: Start adding blocks to your page. Drag blocks on the left side and drop them on the right side.
  • Step 4: Click Publish

How to create a contact form?

To create a contact form, please make sure you have WPForms plugin installed and activated. Then, you can easily find the WPForm in Dashboard.

Go to Dashboard > WPForms > Add New to get started.

This plugin allows you to drag and drop fields to create a custom form.
